[Area - TR 350654] Cropmarks (ring ditch). (1)

The site of a probable round barrow at TR 35026539, upon a gentle E- facing downland slope. The area is under cabbages: nothing was seen. (2)

TR 350653 (sited to nearest 50m) Cropmarks of bronze age barrow. Site no. 155. (4)

TR 350653. Trenching revealed ploughed off Bronze Age barrows. A part of the inner surface and one section of the ditch of this barrow were explored by excavation in 1985. No internal features were found but the chalk surface bore evidence of heavy plough attrition. (5)
