Findspot record TR 36 NE 66 - Romano-British remains, Broadstairs and St. Peters

Summary

Romano-British remains were reportedly found near Northdown in 1899-1900. The finds included a large bronze fibula brooch pin with two beads and a few coins. It is not known where these artefacts are presently located and the exact location of their discovery is uncertain.

Full Description

[TR 380695] A large bronze fibula with two beads and a few coins werereported in 1899-1900 close to the sea mark at Northdown. (1) Near to the Romano British shaft (TR 36 NE 2) but apparently on the surface, a large bronze brooch 2 beads and few coins were found in 1899-1900. (2)
