An enclosure of likely medieval date is partially visible as a cropmark on EARTH.GOOGLE.COM XX-APR-2017 ACCESSED 29-AUG-2024. The feature is formed by a narrow circuit of ditch and is aligned along the northernside of the route of Reading Street Road. The feature was mapped as part of the Thanet Landscape Mapping Project. The CUCAP aerial photograph described above was unavailable to the project. Similar enclosures in the area are thought to be medieval in date, but the cropmark is very indistinct on the the available sources. (4)
