Monument record TR 36 NE 119 - Romano-British ditches and midden materials, Manston

Summary

Romano-British ditches were found during excavation by the Thanet Archaeological Unit in 1978/9. Deep ploughing had previously brought a large quantity of oyster shells to the surface. The excavations revealed a variety of midden materials and Roman pottery.
