Full Description

In 2011 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out an evaluation in the grounds of the former Royal Oak public house. No features were found but a small collection of prehistoric flints was recovered from the stripped ground around the trenches. The finds included on small core fragment and 12 secondary flakes. A broad Neolithic-Bronze Age date may be tentatively suggested. (1)
