Monument record TR 36 NE 144 - Cropmark of ring ditch, east of Broadley Road

Summary

A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on RAF/58/688 Vp4 5096 23-MAY-1951. The feature likely represents the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. This feature was partially revealed during works associated with the installation of a pipeline in this location. It cut the remains of an earlier (neolithic) feature and is likley Bronze Age in date. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
