Full Description
Two bomb craters are located in Home Wood, Lullingstone Park. Two more were found at Ashen Bank and Lower Beecham Wood. The most likely reason for the bomb craters being here is because during the Second World War Lullingstone Park was requisitioned and used as a bombing decoy. A dummy airfield was established within the park. (1)
