Full Description
Two small slit trenches are located in Lullingstone Park, in the plantation below the golf buildings. In 1940 the army requisitioned the park to be used as a bombing decoy and they establishing a dummy airfield within the park. The purpose of the slit trenches may relate to the dummy airfield or perhaps be practice trenches.(1)
