Full Description
An archaeological excavation was carried out in 2009 following earlier evaluation in 2006.
The excavation recorded a number of structures that relate to the manor house
complex that occupied the site from at least the 16th century to its demolition in the
1950’s.
The evaluation uncovered two Post-Medieval post holes. These were observed in Trench 109 and a layer of demolition material was sealed in these features. (1)
