Full Description
Two garden/landscape features observed in Trench 1, at Land to rear of 51 High Street, Sevenoaks. The first of these was located between two ditch, it may have been a landscape feature such as terracing for a flower or plant bed and the ditches acted as a drainage system. Three fragments of pottery were found, Post-Medieval roof tiles, two clay pipe stems and animal bone. It is thought the second features was similar to the first, six fragments of Post-Medival bricks and tiles were presents and the base of a glass bottle. (1)
