Monument record TR 36 NW 2 - Roman cremations found at Convent, Westgate-on-Sea, Margate
Summary
Roman cremation burials were found in 1876-80 in front of Convent, Westgate-on-Sea. Possibly part of the cemetery found at Hundreds Brickfield in 1865 [see TR 36 NW 32]. No further discoveries were made at the site when new buildings were built in the 1960s.
