Full Description
"AS bottle vase found at Shotenden Place, Margate, Dr Rowe" (a). This bottle is not at Maidstone Museum (a) and no further information on it was gained there. It is not at Margate Public Library where the majority of Rowes' Collection went in 1926. Shotenden Place is not listed in the Thanet Directories, only Shottendane Road. It is possible that the bottle came from the Jutish cemetery near this road (see TR 36 NW 23). (1) additional reference (2-3)
