Full Description
To the west of the Second World War heavy anti-aircraft site at Farthingloe there are a number of earlier features visible on aerial photos of 1946. They are clustered to the north and south of an access road from the direction of the later battery. The features south of the road consist of five polygonal possible structures, each c. 12-5m across, all seemingly overgrown and disused; this suggests the First World War date for them. The features to the north of the road are similar but not overgrown.
