Monument record TR 36 NW 24 - Roman pottery, glass vessles, bronze bracelets; possible burial ground, Garlinge, Margate
Summary
Roman remains found A.D. 1860 including pottery and glass. A bottle-shaped earthen vessel, six Samian saucers, found in the valley of Dene Chapel, Garlinge, in 1864 and a bronze bronze bracelet was found in Twenty's Brickfield, near Shottenden. A cremation cemetery of the 2nd-3rd centuries was discovered here.
