Summary
Three Iron Age coins reportedly found on the Isle of Thanet. The coins were; a Gaulish uninscribed gold 1/4 stater, an uninscribed silver stater of Dubnovellaunus and an inscribed coin attributed to the Canti tribe.

Full Description
[Marginal] The following coins are listed by Evans as found "in the Isle of Thanet" without further details of provenance:- 1 Evans type A.5. uninscribed AV 1/4 stater (imported Gaulish acc. to Allen: Belgic Dynasties, Arch. XC, 1944, p.30.) Coin acquired by Evans from Rolfe. 1 Evans type F.15, uninscribed AR (ascribed to Dubnovellaunus by Allen, op,cit.p.31) In Evans collection. 1 Evans type AE XIII, 12, inscribed SA.. (Allen op.cit.p.32, ascribed by him to the Cantii) Coin acquired by Evans from Rolfe.
