Full Description

Site of Little West End Farm, north east of Prospect Farm. In 1990 a desk based assessment was carried out prior to construction of the Thanet Way. Little West End Farm is observed as being apparently a spread of brick fragments and flint. It used to be situated on Owl Hatch Road, but the route of this route changed with the introduction of Thanet Way. (1)

A photography of some farm buildings relating to Little West End Farm were taken during the 1990 assessment. The buildings are thought to have been constructed around the time of the Second World War. (2)

In the 4th edition OS maps (1929-1952) Little West End Farm appears to be a ruin, suggesting perhaps it fell out of use before or around those years. It is present as a building in earlier editions.
