A large urn containing burnt human bones and a small 2nd century jar were found in Birchington Bay in 1915. These finds are not thought to be in Ramsgate Museum and no further information on their present location was available.

Full Description

Brichington-on-Sea. A large urn containing burnt human bones and a small C2nd jar, in Ramsgate Museum, were found in Birchington Bay in 1915. (1) Not in Ramsgate Museum and no further information obtained on exact provenance or present whereabouts. (2)
