An irregular hexagonal Second World War pillbox, near Nash Road, Westwood. (1)

E of Lydden.Pillbox [Sector 7]. Cassini ref 802859 (2)

A second World War pillbox is visible as a structure on RAF/58/616 5019 05-APR-1951. The feature has been recorded as a demolished structure on the latest Next Perspectives APGB Imagery TR3565 14-APR-2015. (3-4)

The structure was part of a complex of gun pits and defensive features covering an area c. 65 m x 50 m in area.
