Full Description
In 1993 a survey was conducted across England by English Heritage which focused on the glass making industry. There was one glass furance noted in Kent. The exact location of it is unknown, but it is within Knole Park. There is documentary evidence from Lennard [1905] and Godfrey [1975], but it is yet to be discovered. (1)
