Full Description
In 1994 a watching brief was done on the pipeline for the Herne Bay Water Treatment. A ancient stream channel was observed south of the railway at Site 1, which is north of Thanet Way at Hawthorn Corner. The palaeo-channel of the stream contained 13th century pottery
