Full Description

In 1994 Oxford Archaeological Unit conducted fieldwalking over the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. 26 sherds of Prehistoric pottery, mainly of flint-gritted type types with some Late Bronze Age/Iron Age wares. As well as some hard fired examples with little or no flint, which are more likely to be Iron Age. (1)
