Full Description
In 1994 Oxford Archaeological Unit conducted fieldwalking over the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Two sherd of prhistoric pottery were found, one was Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age in date, the other Iron Age and wer efound in association with the flint scatter. A samll number of Roman sherds were collected, which were found along side the eastern edge of the Roman Road. (1)
