Full Description
TR 346697.  Located to the nearest fifty metres.  Cropmarks of Bronze Age barrows.  Site no. 43.   (1)
A 1:2500 scale air photographic survey was carried out in this area by the Aerial Survey section of RCHME in October to December 1996. The ring ditch described by the previous authority was identified at TR 3472 6984 on vertical air photographs taken by the RAF on 11/04/51 (58/618 5138-9). It is approximately 16m in diameter. (2)

RCH01/113	Industry and Enclosure in the Neolithic Period	In August 1994 staff from the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England began a 3 year national project recording sites and monuments connected to industry and enclosure of the Neolithic period. 51 sites, where flint mining occurred and 113 enclosures were recorded for the project, resulting in two separate publications.
