Summary
Wall and attached mounting block at Old St Alban's Court, built circa 1869 by George Devey for William Oxenden Hammond. These features form part of the stable block, which was also designed by George Devey, and separates the stable block from the gardens at Old St Albans Court. The wall to the northwest is constructed of Kentish ragstone blocks terminating at each end in square gate piers with pyramidal tops. The stone mounting block is attached at the southeast end of its south elevation. A further smaller section of similar wall with a stone pier is situated to the southeast on the other side of a driveway, which is edged by curbing stones.The wall and mounting block is a grade II listed building.
