Summary
Numerous sherds of medieval pottery were previously found in Quex Park. The materials dated to the 10th, 14th and 15th centuries and at the time were believed to be the remains of a medieval manor site. The pottery is thought to be held in the Powell Cotton Musuem.

Full Description
TR 307680. Located to the nearest fifty metres. Medieval finds. Site no. 72. (1) Pottery sherds including 10th, 14th and 15th century A.D. fabrics were discovered here. Believed at the time (1960's?) to be the remains of a Medieval Manor. Nothing further known. Powell-Cotton Museum may have pottery and records. (2)
