Full Description
In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Both struck and burnt flint were recovered, three areas in particular had high concentrations. Retouches were present, most comonly scrapers. The scrapers were consistent with Bronze Age date, they could possibly be Neolithic. The scatter is clsoe to a nearby Bronze Age site at Coldhabour Road, Gravesham. (1)
