Full Description

In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. A diffused sctter of both struck and burnt flint were found in the south of the field. Three possible Iron Age sherds were associated with this scatter, a fouth was found unassociated but also IronAge in date. There was also a few Roman and Medieval Sherds. (1)
