Full Description
In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Nine Iron Age sherds were present and 15 Roman sherds. All the Iron Age pottery was East Kent tradition and partky overlaid the Roman scatter. The Roman pottery dates to the 1st century AD. (1)
