Full Description
In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. 21 Late Iron Age sherds were recovered in two separate scatters and were probably of lacl source. They date between 1st century BC and 1st century AD. The Roman pottery hasd an overall date of 1st-2nd century AD and 26 sherds were foubnd. They were of East Kent and Patch Grove traditions. (1)
