Full Description
In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Neolithic flintwork is represented by flake cores, thought some of the knapping may be earlier in date. There is a possible Palaeolithic handaxe and a fragment of a transverse arrowhead which would indicated it as being late Neolithic in date. (1)
