Full Description

In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. A large scatter was present to the east of Pleasant Farm. It is thought it may be associated with a predecessor of the farm there now. It is thought the scatter is not a result of manuring. The only diagnostic sherd dates between probably 12th-13th century.
