Full Description

In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. A dense scatter of pottery was recovered, as well as Roman tile. The date range appears to be 3rd century and the tile is suggestive of a substantial building nearby. (1)
