In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Five flint tempered Middle Iron Age shers were recovered overlapping with the Late Iron Age/Roman pottery. 10 sherds of Late Iron Age/Roman pottery were recovered from a linear pattern beside the railway line.
