Full Description
In 1995 some supplementary field walking was carried out by Wessex Archaeology along the route of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. A diffused scatter of lint was present and 58 prehistoric worked pieces of flint were found and 28 burnt unworked pieces. A fragment of an arrowhead was present too but was so fragmentary that it was not easily dateable, it is most likely to be Neolithic or Bronze Age in date. Another scatter also included a sherd of Prehistoric pottery. (1)
