A cropmark feature of uncertain origins. Possibly the remains of a ploughed out round barrow, but as the feature lies within an area of 20th century military activity this is uncertain.

Full Description

TR 338682 and TR 339683. Located to the nearest fifty metres. Cropmarks. Site no. 84 and 85. (1) TR 33866830. Fairly large area feature, possibly a barrow site but within area of military activity so could have recent origins. (2) TR 33986837. Possibly part of a rectilinear enclosure, but within area of 20th century military activity so possibly modern. (3) Crop and soil mark indicate a large ploughed off barrow. There is also a large irregular mark that could represent an infilled chalk pit. (4)
