Full Description

Part of the NE arm survives as a depression with a drainage channel in the bottom but elsewhere it has been destroyed. The house is mainly 17th c. and later and of little architectural interest externally, but it incorporates some earlier work including a pointed doorway. Chilmington, or Chelmington, was a manor (a) (1). GP AO/13/122/5 Published 25" survey revised.
