Full Description
An oast house at Old Chilmington. Shown on the 1840 Tithe Map and likely of early 19th century origin. It went through a number of phases with modifications and expansions throughout the remainder of the 19th century. It has been adapted and modernised for residential use. It retains a brick roundel with a conical peg tile roof and a wooden cowl. (1)
