Full Description
A 19th century sheepfold building used by shepherds or lookers during the seasons of lambing as a place to stay. A 10ft by 10ft brick structure or weatherboard. Also a chimney on one wall of the building with a fireplace and fitted stove for the shepherd to cook on. Situated on the edges of field boundaries and fences. None of the sheepfold remains today; though shown on 4th edition OS mapping it is not visible on ariel photos from 1999. (1)
