Full Description
A watching brief was maintained by Guy Beresford in 2011 during repair works to the Fullagar chest tomb. The tomb is of late 18th century date and stands over a brick-built vault where seven members of the Fullagar family are buried. The first burial was in 1775 and the last in 1845. The chest tomb is of white York Stone with a brick core. It was restored following partial collapse in 2008. The vault collapsed during the restoration works and so had to be filled in. The chest tomb was repaired and restored. (1)
