Full Description
A V2 is reported to have come down near Egypt Bay, High Halstow at 7:50am on 2/3/1945. A large crater is visible on RAF aerial photos from 1946, with a clear blast pattern of the material ejected by the impact and explosion. The crater remains visible, to a lesser extent, on modern aerial photographs.
The rocket was launched from Den Haag at 7:47am on 2/3/1945. (1)
