Monument record TQ 57 SE 10 - Mount's wood denehole
Summary
Former site of 4 deneholes, now quarried away, possibly prehistoric. Tool marks on the walls all seem to suggest primitive implements such as horn picks or spikes. Only object found was a chalk spindle-whorl.
