Summary

Full Description
In 2000 the Trust for Thanet Archaeology carried out an evaluation at Manston Airport. In Area 2 on the passenger side of the airport an open area exploration located colluvial deposits were found with a surface scatter of pottery dating from the Early Iron Age to the first to second centuries of the Roman period. A single prehistoric blade flake was also found. (1)
