Full Description
In 2001 the Trust for Thanet Archaeology carried out an evaluation of land to the rear of 23-25 Anne Close, now Rosewood Way. A large ring ditch was found, probably belonging to a round barrow of Bronze Age date. No pottery was recovered but worked flint found in the ditch does suggest this dating, as does its similarity in form with other barrows on Thanet. (1)
