Full Description

In 2002 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out an evaluation and an excavation at Ickham Court Farm. In Area A brick foundations were found of 18th century farm buildings. The earliest of these was a granary recorded in documentary sources of 1757. It was not depicted on the 1842 Tithe Map so may have been removed before this date. A number of other barn buildings were also constructed on the site in the 19th and 20th centuries. (1)
