Full Description
A vase and a Roman urn containing ashes, were found during the erection of some detached villas at Greenhithe, "about 600 feet from Ingress Abbey and on the opposite side of the road." (1) The villas in question are almost certainly "Elm Villas", shown on the O.S. 6" 1869 at TQ 59297485 but now demolished. (2)
