Full Description

In 2003 and 2004 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out a programme of works at Westwood Cross, Broadstairs. A small quantity of Roman finds were recovered from the topsoil. These included sherds from a Dragendorff type 37 bowl, dated to c. AD 120 to 200. No features were found dating to this period but it is likely that a Roman activity was occurring in the vicinity of the site. (1)
