Full Description
In 2003 Pre-Construct Archaeology carried out a programme of works on Belvedere Road, Faversham. An evaluation trench located a wood lined tank of 17th century date. The tank was not fully exposed but the excavated section consisted of a timber base and seven lining planks. A similar tank was found nearby in a trench dug during a subsequent watching brief. No function could be assigned to either tank. (1)
