Full Description
In 2003 Pre-Construct Archaeology carried out a programme of works on Belvedere Road, Faversham. An evaluation trench located the remains of a row of late 18th to early 19th century cottages, these were then excavated. The walls were of brick and the internal floors of tile. A brick-lined cess pit was found to the rear of the properties. The buildings were shown on OS mapping at the turn of the 20th century. (1)
