Full Description
Molins are reputed to have built a factory within Wansunt Pit, Dartford, during the Second World War. The company was responsible for the production of autoloading cannon. The site was reportedly concealed from the air via a large camouflage net suspended across the entire pit. A substantial building is visible in the pit on aerial photos of 1946. It is not know how much of this building remains though the current structures resemble the Second World War structure to some extent.
