Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1)
Cropmark of a possible medieval settlement enclosure in fields near Margate identified from aerial photographs :HEA 29749_037 29-JUN-2015 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 and mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The site is a rectilinear, sub-divided ditched enclosure 31m x atleast 37m (the western side is not visible). It is probably associated with other similar enclosures to the west (TR 36 NW 111) (2-3).
